1. Call to order at 1:00pm by Ken Curry, President

                    Attendance taken, approval of minutes of November 5, 2007 meeting minutes

2. Treasurer Report Bill Jaback

                    Waiting for a check from previous WAPG Treasurer in the amount of $$4,958.58

Also applied for new tax I.D. number and UBI number

3. Presidents Report Ken Curry

"We’re legal" UBI and new tax I.D. number have been issued

Ken is interested in collection of membership data and initiating a WAPG membership application. Discussion around information to request on such applications/surveys.

Discussion of CPG Summary drafted by CPG Board and discussion of Office of Public Guardian, (OPG) who can attend meetings throughout the State and then report back to WAPG?

4. Steering Committee; $75.00 application fee for WAPG Members, these are not dues!

Application is one time only-then annual dues thereafter using a January through December year.

Practicing Guardian, General Rule 23

CPG Board; what is the definition of CPG; this has been determined and the Steering Committee has done their work and the committee is dissolved per Ken Curry.

5. OPG people who have agreed to attend the December 13, 2007 meeting at Kilroy Center are Liz Lindley, Mindi Blanchard Glenda Voller and Mimi Hudson.

6. Spring Seminar: Leesa Camarata and Bill Jaback will help. Roxanne M. from King County Bar Association (KCBA) is willing to help on training.

7. CPG Board meetings: Tom O’Brien, Glenda Voller and Ken Curry agreed to attend

8. Initial Training through University of Washington discussion.

questions why there was no bid from other schools,

urge CPG Board to slow down discussion of education. Question? What is the obligation of WAPG to produce training events or make them available to all CPGs.

9. Membership: Proceeding ahead; to have 100% of all CPGs become WAPG members. Discussed mailing membership form around the state via 1 class mail.

10. Insurance: Resa Raven suggested she’d like to lead finding insurances for medical and dental and other coverage for guardian’s as a group.

11. Annual Meeting: It is proposed to have a spring training and we’ll have a lunch which can be WAPG Annual Meeting.

12. Next meeting. It was agreed to meet at Valley View Library, January 14, 2008 at
